Vadodara has given 2 Executive members to the national EC - ar. Karan Grover (1998) and ar. Hitesh Modi (2015).

Starting with just 50 members (Architects, Trade & Students) this chapter has grown to 600 + Members now with 24 corporate members out of a total of 50 pan India.

Enthusiastic team of IIID Vadodara has hosted successfully National events like NATCON, M K Awards, D Cube, D Connect etc.

In this journey of past 17 years, IIID Vadodara witnessed more than 200 speakers from India & abroad which indirectly influenced to improve the design scenario of the city.

IIID Vadodara cofounded Ahmedabad Chapter as well as Charotar & Bharuch Centers.

IIID Vadodara Regional Chapter was awarded the “Best Chapter” for the past 3 consecutive tenures for promoting excellent cohesiveness and fellowship among the IIID members fraternity and nurturing leadership amongst managing committee and for devising innovative strategies for the sustained continuance of creative program verticals for coming years.

In this term IIID Vadodara, in its endeavour to take design to masses, worked very hard towards city development. During Vadfest, the largest city based festival, iiid worked on 3 most important roads of the city on an honorary basis. We gave design proposals to the municipal corporation and supervised the work to deliver design and details that are appreciated by all citizens of the city. The corporation is consulting IIID Vadodara for many works intended to uplift cityscape and raise basic standards of the city.
